Obsessive?

I’m noticing a pattern in my behavior lately that could suggest that I have a mild Obsessive disorder. I will provide a background, lay the foundation so to speak.

I drive a 2010 Kia Forte. My Kia has bluetooth capabilities, however my iPhone will not play music from it for some crazed reason. Apparently it’s only good for phone calls. This means I have a dreaded AUX cable. I’ve now gone through 3 AUX cables ranging from 5$-20$ all with the same issue, which means the issue is either my car port or my phone port. Unless I pull the cable partially out of my iPhone, the sound is very muddy, song faint, and not to mention incredibly annoying. These cables work with my phone in other vehicles, so I’m sure that means it’s the car port. This lead me to digress into the world of CD’s.

In December I purchased my first CD since high school- from Common Culture . It’s a compilation album made up of artists from all over the world. I did not know a single artist on the album and I took a leap. It’s the greatest driving CD. It’s diverse and different. I still can listen to it without getting bored. For a month straight it was all I listened too while driving. In February I purchased another CD (I felt strange only having 1). Again- listened to nothing but this CD for a month. Difference here- I knew the tracks because I had already purchased them all on my iPhone. Last week I purchased the Halsey Badlands CD. Same pattern. Do you do this? Am I normal? I now have almost all of the songs on these 3 CD’s memorized. Each CD has 1 song I skip because I just do not care for it/relate to it.
