Hey Hi How Are you? It’s Kelly, and I’m back at it again with the product trials. This one is brought to you by Influenster. I received a box chalked full of goodies the other day! It contained the following items:
- Voluminous Primer/Base- White (The main item to test)
- Voluminous Original Mascara in Blackest Black
- Eyeshadow Singles in 200 & 207
- Infalible Eyeliner in Noir I believe
- Eyebrow kit in Light to Medium (For the record- my eyebrows are BLACK)
Here’s a peek:

So since I got these for free from Influenster and Loreal Makeup – I want to make sure you all understand- my opinions do not sway. They will still be 100% my own. I was not paid for an endorsement- simply given items to try that some get free with coupons.
When I travel, I do not like to test fate with new products. I waited until I was home from Nashville, TN to break these open.
Eyeshadow first! You’ll notice these are from snapchat. Follow me @kellyndodds there ❤
I swept 200- Paris Beach from lid to brow as a “primer” color. I dipped into my stash and pulled out my Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette to get some blending colors.
In the middle of my eye I used 207- Pain Au Chocolat for some shimmer. It was not very pigmented and I had to use a decent amount to even get the shimmer to show.

So after the eyes I moved to the primer. I was timid at first. This looks like whiteout. It’s thick- like whiteout. You aren’t supposed to put whiteout on your eyes. I braced myself while my black as night lashes turned stark white.

I did two coats of primer, since my eyelashes are so dark. I probably didn’t need two coats…. or so I would find out later. Regardless- It’s MASCARA TIME!

If the brow kit would have been Ebony I would have thought this company knew me. They sent the mascara in Blackest Black- like my soul. Just Kidding- maybe. I probably didn’t need 2 coats of mascara either….
Warning- My brows need maintenance and I am aware, but here was the finished product and the most recent photo of myself, in the 8 am sunlight that only New Albany can provide. My lashes look a little clumpy but they do look thick and long which is what they promise with the primer. My work look is very neutral always and these colors suit that. As I went through the day my eyes became irritated because small clumps moved off my lashes. I did make an attempt to remove the mascara with simply water and found that even though this is not waterproof- the primer does grab hold of the mascara with vengeance. It was very very hard to remove. I’m sure had I done a 1:1 coat instead of 2:2 ratio it would not have ended that way for me! Stay tuned for my next product review box ❤
